    Description
The Keter Factor 6 x 6 garden shed provides a medium size outdoor storage solution for the garden - ideal for everything from garden tools and equipment to furniture, bicycles and ladders. Wide-opening double doors provide convenient access to contents, while an integral window (which can be located on either side of the shed) and skylight provide ample access for natural light. There are also air vents to enable air circulation, as well as prevent condensation and build-up of moisture. The 6 x 6 comes complete with two shelves and brackets, while a heavy-duty floor helps to keep wet weather and unwanted pests out. The shed is also designed to be secured with a standard padlock (not included) for peace of mind. Manufactured in durable, weather-resistant resin with steel reinforcement, the Factor 6 x 6 is designed to be virtually maintenance and fade-free. Just an occasional light wash is all that is required to keep it looking like new. The Factor 6 x 6 is designed for self-assembly with a limited knowledge of DIY skills. I bought 6 ft x 6ft version of this Shed.. The manufacturer advises that 2 people build this shed. I would recommend that, if only for Heath and Safety, holding Panels in place, Ladders etc. Although i ended up building it myself I was let down by my son; in truth I did it with out too much difficulty. I found the instructions inside to be very clear, and concise, in English. I have lost count of the times i have bought something for home assembly, only to find photocopied Chinese instructions inside. And literally had to build it on what I think goes where etc. A tip, I always grab a few Cereal Bowls from the Kitchen cupboard for home assemblies, I put all the screws + Fittings in different bowls straight out of their little hermetically sealed plastic bags. Putting the parts i will need earliest near the front, parts i need last near the back .Never mix them up. Fail to prepare = prepare to fail. Never lob all screws in one Bowl, fatal mistake. They might look similar, they are not, and they have different threads/lengths for a different purpose As I said, assembly was very easy, because of the clear instructions.. The biggest challenge was slotting the roof sheeting in to place along the centre piece. Only because it was awkward sliding it fully in to place along the groove .I wouldn’t advise trying to knock it in to place. In the end I put the lip in to the beginning of the groove at the front of the shed, slid the sheeting along the groove, where by it was fully in place by the end, in truth it wasn’t too hard. I used an electric screw driver on the floor panels. I also tightened all the plastic Screws on the side Panels even further after assembly with a Pair of Pliers. Finger tight just didn’t feel safe enough to me. At first I was a bit annoyed, the Doors were sticking on opening, and shutting after assembly. Now it has stopped completely and the Door open and shut without problem. I put that down to the fact, these plastic Sheds are made in bulk, packag

After reviewing similar types of shed and the reviews for this one, I opted for the 6x6 version, the shed arrived early and was contacted prior to delivery which was helpful in clearing a space. The shed arrived in 2 very large flat pack boxes and everything was there with no damage to anything. I assembled the shed by myself and it took about 3 hours, the main part was relatively quick and a good hour was taken up by the various fixings to the door, handles etc and fitting window. I would suggested; Make sure you assemble on a flat surface, the interlocking sides won’t align as easily otherwise. Assemble as per the instructions ie start at the front corner and fit the sides all the way round to the other side (eg don’t be tempted to fit all the corners). Look at the various YouTube videos about assembling the shed, the Keter ones are good, albeit they are quite quick time but you can always watch again or slow them down, there are some which highlight what not to do (as mentioned fit sides out of order and try to ‘slot’ sides in from the top) I found the videos really helpful and sped up things once I got going. Small steps needed to fit the upper side and end bits, they need to locate evenly to get the securing pins in, the roof was quite easy to fit by myself so wasn’t a problem and was no heavy lifting at all. I used a drill with a screw driver attachment which sped things up. I moved the shed after it was assembled, 2 of us managed and used a rope under it and ‘shuffled’ it into place I wouldn’t push hard at the sides or try lifting by the roof as although it’s certainly sturdy enough for use if you pushed hard at the sides, especially mid sections, you could damage them. I found the 2 slots where the door locking mechanism were supposed to be inserted weren’t fully ‘punched through) but they pushed in no problem at all, again the video helped clarify where they went. Summary Delighted with the shed and since assembled there have been a couple of torrential dow

Nice shed although it seems smaller on the inside than 6 X 6, my last shed was a 7x5. No problem putting it up as had workmen in who did this for me. Its the first plastic shed that I have bought and it seems alot more flimsier than a wooden one, I would not feel comfortable leaning too much equipment against the walls! It has survived a lot of heavy rain so at the moment its definitely waterproof. Looks very pretty.

I have had this for about 3 years now and it is as good as the day I bought it. Strong and waterproof. Serves its purpose verry well.
